| Heather, aka Gypsy finished her American Championship shortly after her second birthday. I soon found that she enjoyed being with people and children much more than the show ring. She found her place in life as a Delta Society Therapy Dog working with Kevin O'Malley, her co-owner. For the next 8 years, these two worked as a team to encourage and bring smiles to young children in hospitals and special care settings. She was preceded in death by her therapy partner, so she returned to live with me in Montana for her last years. In May of 2008, she went to be with her best friend and lifelong partner Kevin, never to be separated again. |
